social media templates designed for you

when is it okay to use canva templates?

You care about your business and the planet deeply. However, sometimes this enthusiasm leads to businesses leaping into marketing before creating a concrete gameplan and creative vision. This is like investing in a car (your Branding and Graphic Design), but driving out the garage with no GPS (the Strategy) in a new city. Without some direction, you’ll drive yourself in circles (and drive yourself crazy) trying to get where you want to go. This inevitably gets exhausting and your marketing starts to become haphazard or stops altogether.

GPS is kind of similar to Canva templates. It’s a guide but if you want to take a slightly different route, your navigation still follows you and keeps you going in the right direction. I designed these templates with eco-conscious businesses in mind.

how do you know these templates will work?

  1. Do you spend hours digging through Canva’s template library looking for one that is as close to what you’re envisioning as possible?

  2. Do you start to edit that template only to find that as soon as your change the colors and fonts, it no longer looks as good?

  3. Do you not know what you’re envisioning but you know none of the existing templates feel quite right?

  4. Do you pick different templates every time you go to create content and then wish your feed felt more cohesive?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then these templates are for you. They’re designed to retain their aesthetics with a variety of fonts and color palettes. The layouts highlight photography so that they showcase your brand well. They’re easy to use so you don’t spend too much time trying to get the look you’re after.

Canva can have a negative association with professional designers but, there’s a reason it’s become so popular. It does make creating content easy and less expensive for business owners. As an impact-driven business owner myself, if Canva templates helps you grow, then I’m all for it! In fact, I created a set of templates with eco-conscious businesses in mind. You can easily customize them to fit your branding, use them to create regular posts, like a weekly blog highlight, for a cohesive look on your feed, or just swap out the photography and be done!
