From a Diy logo to a strategically-driven brand identity
Ecofixr’s founder, Ellen, came to Outside Minds ready to level up. Her business as a sustainability consultant for film and theater productions was growing but, she had big dreams. She wanted Ecofixr to be an industry leader in Chicago and beyond. Inspired by vintage protest and activism posters, we created a language that spoke to the brand’s mission as an advocate for community building and positive impact. Ecofixr helps productions reduce carbon emissions, supply compost bins, and give left-over food to underserved areas in Chicago.








strategy
Taking inspiration from vintage activism posters and signs, we created a visual language that spoke to Ecofixrs core pillars: community, sustainability, creativity. We simplified and modernized the logo giving it a custom and ownable icon as well as a fresh bold color palette. The collage system allows for endless iterations and visual communication tools for the brand to use across print and digital platforms that describes the intersections of film, theater, sustainability, and community impact. The font is simple, yet full of personality that’s both professional and approachable. The 3-D type effect plays off of the collages bringing the whole identity together seamlessly.
